You can add your mailbox to Outlook, Apple Mail, the Mail app on your phone, or Gmail. Use these settings.
Recommended: IMAP (keeps mail in sync across devices)
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Username | your full email address, e.g. you@yourdomain.com |
| Password | your mailbox password |
| Incoming server (IMAP) | mail.yourdomain.com |
| IMAP port | 993 (SSL/TLS) |
| Outgoing server (SMTP) | mail.yourdomain.com |
| SMTP port | 465 (SSL/TLS) |
| Authentication | required — same username and password |
Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain.
POP3 (downloads mail to one device)
Most people should use IMAP. If you specifically want POP3, the incoming port is 995 (SSL/TLS); the outgoing settings are the same as above.
Common problems
- Can send but not receive, or vice versa — double-check the port numbers and that SSL/TLS is on for both servers.
- Password rejected — the username must be the full email address, not just the part before the @.
- Certificate warning on
mail.yourdomain.com— this can happen before your domain's SSL is issued. It is safe to accept, or useserver5.atlantishosting.netas the server name instead.
If it still will not connect, open a support ticket with the app you are using and we will get you set up.
