A redirect automatically sends visitors from one address to another — for example sending an old page to a new one, or a .net to your main .com.
Steps
- Log in to your control panel.
- Open Redirects.
- Choose the domain, and enter the path you want to redirect from (leave it blank for the whole site).
- Enter the full address to redirect to (including
https://). - Choose the type:
- Permanent (301) — for a move that is not changing back. Best for SEO.
- Temporary (302) — for a short-term redirect.
- Save.
Test it in a private/incognito window, since your browser may have cached the old page.
