A subdomain is a section of your site with its own address, like shop.yourdomain.com or blog.yourdomain.com.
Steps
- Log in to your control panel.
- Open Subdomains.
- Enter the subdomain name (just the first part, e.g.
shop) and choose the parent domain. - The document root — the folder its files live in — is filled in for you (e.g.
public_html/shop). Leave it unless you have a reason to change it. - Click Create.
Upload that subdomain's files into the folder shown, using the File Manager or FTP.
Note
A new subdomain can take a few minutes to start working while DNS updates. If it still is not loading after an hour, open a support ticket.
